How to Catch Darkrai

Once you have eight gym badges, head to Mitis Town and enter your starter home. Walk up to the bed and interact with it repeatedly. Continue until the dialogue window confirms that you have fallen into a nightmare.

The nightmare warps your character directly into an alternate broken house area. This zone contains an obstacle course requiring precise jumping:

1. Toggle the run mechanic on before attempting any jump across the floating platforms.
2. Jump across each floating beam and broken flooring section toward the far end of the room.
3. Move deliberately, as falling off the ledges resets your position back to the beginning of the platform section.
4. Interact directly with Darkrai at the conclusion of the jumping course to initiate the capture battle.

Acquiring Darkrai also allows you to prepare for its Mega Evolution. Travel to the stone shop located in Aether City. Speak with the shopkeeper behind the counter and browse the catalogue for Darkrai. How to Catch Cresselia

2. Locate the ground stone marked with a bright yellow symbol.
3. Position your avatar directly on top of the marked stone.
4. Open the in-game chat interface and type lunar to initiate the battle with Cresselia.

In specific game builds, encounter scripts may experience bugs that delay the event spawn. If the command does not summon the battle immediately, confirm that your avatar stands directly in the center of the yellow glyph before entering the command again.
