4. Raise a battle team above level 80 to comfortably handle required gym leader rematches and high-level wild battles.
5. Save manually prior to interacting with any legendary platform, altar, or overworld model.

Creation Trio Locations and Origin Forms

Giratina in the Distortion World

Fly to Rose Tower City and exit onto Route 9. Navigate between the trees toward Fortitude Manor. Inside the manor grounds, enter the stone temple on the right to load into the Distortion World.

The Distortion World contains wild encounters including Vespiquen, Magnezone, Dunsparce, Aggron, and Sandslash. Walk up to the floating platform where Giratina awaits. Click the prompt text above Giratina to start the battle.

To obtain Giratina's Origin form, travel to the Battle Frontier. Locate the evolution item shopkeeper and purchase the Griseous Orb for 300,000 Poké Dollars. Use the Griseous Orb directly from the Key Items bag on Giratina to transform it.

Weather Trio Locations and Primal Forms

Tracking the Weather Trio and Primal forms requires specific key items and rematch victories before Rayquaza becomes accessible.

Groudon at Mount Igneus

Fly to Brimber City and enter the fire gym. Rematch Gym Leader Sebastian with high-level Water-type moves to win the Red Orb.

Exit the gym and travel to Route 6. Enter Mount Igneus and return to the ritual altar previously used by Team Eclipse. Interact with the altar while holding the Red Orb to summon Groudon.

Kyogre at Ocean's Origin

Fly to Crescent Island and head into the waters of Route 17. Navigate behind the trainers in the water and enter the cave opening leading to Ocean's Origin. Walk through the interior cavern to find Kyogre standing in the shallow pool. Interact with the sprite to begin the encounter.

Rayquaza and Sky Pillar Access

Catching Rayquaza requires both Groudon and Kyogre in your active party:

1. Fly to Port Bianca and enter the building to the left of the docks.
2. Purchase the Tropics ticket from the attendant.
3. Talk to the sailor at the dock, submerge, and select Sky Pillar from the travel options.
4. Surf into the Sky Pillar entrance, bypass the trainers along the staircases, and climb the final ladder to the summit.
5. Step forward on the roof to start the battle against Rayquaza.

To unlock Primal Reversion, fly to Rustboro Beach and enter the lighthouse to speak with Tess's grandfather. He awards the Blue Orb. Equip Groudon with the Red Orb and Kyogre with the Blue Orb to trigger Primal Reversion automatically at the start of battle. To Mega Evolve Rayquaza, visit the Move Reminder at the Battle Frontier and teach Rayquaza the move Dragon Ascent.

Tao Trio and Kyurem Fusion

Acquiring the complete Tao Trio fusion involves two separate capture points across western Roria.

1. Fly to Laguna Lake and explore the deep cavern paths while running Max Repels.
2. Enter the inner chamber holding Reshiram and Zekrom.
3. Select your chosen dragon; the remaining member becomes a roaming wild encounter. Defeat or catch the first target to continue.
4. Fly to Frostveil City and enter the frozen cave network to track Kyurem.
5. Capture Kyurem, then access the Key Items pocket to locate the Dark Stone and Light Stone items. Use the respective stone on Kyurem while Reshiram or Zekrom sits in your party to complete the form change into Black Kyurem or White Kyurem.

Zygarde Cells and Form Changes

Tracking the Aura Trio and Zygarde forms starts in Selene City. Head into the Park District to locate glowing Zygarde cells scattered on the walkways and green patches.

Interact with the cell nodes to register them to your inventory. After collecting the local cells, fly to the Battle Frontier. Purchase the Zygarde assembly assembly item from the vendor, open your bag, and apply the item to Zygarde to reconfigure it between its 10% dog form, 50% standard form, and Complete form.
