Once badges are complete, stock standard capture items and Repels. Certain cavern routes leading to legendary chambers disable hoverboard movement, making regular walking the only method of travel while wild encounters remain active.

Catching Reshiram or Zekrom at Laguna Lake

Travel to Laguna Lake to begin the dragon questline. Move through the lake cavern on foot, applying Repels to avoid wild spawns along the path.

At the end of the cavern, save your progress manually before initiating the encounter sequence. The event presents a choice between Reshiram and Zekrom. Selecting one dragon leads directly into its encounter, while the unchosen legendary must be defeated in battle during this sequence. Select the appropriate orb from your Key Items bag and apply it directly onto Kyurem in your party. Using the White Orb transforms Kyurem into White Kyurem, whereas using the Black Orb shifts Kyurem into Black Kyurem.
